Brockton In It Together Logo

Brockton is a community known for coming together in a time of need. Though we are unable to be together physically, let’s connect to show our support and gratitude for one another and our front line workers! The Municipality of Brockton encourages all of our citizens to connect through community this Easter Weekend.

Brockton has provided 3 challenges:

  1. Many neighbourhoods are making joyous noise to share appreciation and support for everyone working on the front lines providing essential services for our health and safety and well-being.
On Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. let’s unite our Municipality by making noise on our front porch, and property! Sign up for our Facebook Event to show your support!
  2. Reach out through a phone call, or on social media to three friends or family to check in and share your gratitude!
  3. Let’s continue to enhance our community spirit through displaying a ribbon, bow, or posting the “In It Together” logo on your door or window. Have a look through your treasures at home and see how creative you can be to recycle materials to display your support at home. Create your own pinwheel, or a new inspiration for you and your community!

Upload your photos, and videos below, or on our Facebook Event to showcase your community spirit!

Hashtag or link the community services or members that you appreciate, such as the Walkerton South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Brucelea Haven, Bruce County EMS, Fire Services or any other business or citizen working the frontline in our community that you want to salute!

Community spirit will unite us together while we face this time of uncertainty. #InItTogether!

As a proud member of the Municipality of Brockton team serving alongside Council, the Senior Management Team and the many professional staff I am excited to share in the community spirit that is always evident in Brockton but so incredibly important now during this difficult time. I will be at home with my family staying safe and isolated as per Provincial direction but I know the community will come alive from their doorsteps. I may even be able to hear the noise from neighbouring Huron-Kinloss. I have many family and friends who serve on the frontline in healthcare, as grocery... Continue reading
