On January 10, 2023 B.M. Ross & Associates Ltd. presented a delegation to Brockton Council. Council selected Option 4 as the preferred solution.

The Municipality of Brockton and B.M. Ross are now seeking public input on the preferred preliminary approach before the Environmental Assessment process is finalized. The Municipality and B.M. Ross will be holding a Public Information Meeting on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton). 

The meeting will provide project details, including the results of a Geotechnical Assessment and Fluvial Geomorphology Study and give residents the opportunity to provide additional comments on the project. An Open House will occur from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. with the engineer’s formal presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. 

Input into the Class EA will be accepted until February 24, 2023.  Any comments collected in conjunction with this Class EA process will be maintained on file for use during the project and may be included in project documentation.  With the exception of personal information, all comments will become part of the public record.
