The Municipality would like to consult and engage with residents about the 2022 budget. There are many factors that affect the Municipality's operating budget, and staff continually balance necessary costs and priorities while maintaining the service levels that our community expects. Staff are always looking for efficiencies that can result in cost savings. Activities are also tied to priorities set out by Council. Learn more about key budget timelines and processes, view documents, infographics, and ask questions of the Chief Financial Officer. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Budget Consultation 2022 project on our Community Engagement website, Build Your Brockton. Feedback was consolidated in a report that was presented for information purposes at the February 8, 2022 Council Meeting.

For more information about the Municipality's budget, or financial statements, visit the Municipality's website.

What are your ideas for upcoming supplemental budget items? What would you like to see in our community?

Share your ideas with us! As part of the ongoing budget process, the Municipality will build a list of ideas from public feedback. This doesn't always mean that these ideas are, or will be, accepted and approved, but it does provide a means for us to hear what our community is saying.

Ideas are a terrific way to express a vision, however, it is important to remember that all projects take time to move through the process. What we want to accomplish here is to document ideas that can be discussed as part of the Municipality's future budgets.

It is also important to note that new "things" can have an impact on your taxes. In other words, every idea that becomes an actual project has a cost associated with it.

Please drop your ideas here and if you like, you can include a photo to share your idea visually. You can also engage with others' ideas by giving a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
